A website for a cleaning company: what makes the phone ring
Many cleaning companies have a website that is just a brochure. The customer compares a couple of companies in a few seconds, looking for one thing: can I trust them in my home?
Cleaning is about trust
You let someone into your home or office. That makes it matter more than usual who is behind it. Show a real face or the team, not stock photos, and say briefly who you are and where you work.
Say something about price
“Contact us for a price” loses many visitors. You don’t need to list every price, but a starting price or an example (“move-out cleaning of a 3-room flat, from …”) makes the customer dare to call. It also shows you have nothing to hide.
Explain what is included
- what the clean covers, for example windows and equipment
- whether the customer has to be home
- whether you bring equipment and products yourselves
- whether you offer a free walk-through
Every point you don’t answer is a question the customer has to call to ask, and many won’t.
Make it easy to get in touch
On mobile, the customer should be able to tap the phone number and call straight away, and fill in a short form if they would rather write. Keep the number visible at the top, not hidden at the bottom of the page.
Show reviews and your area
Real reviews from customers mean more than any slogan. Also write which towns and areas you cover, so both customers and Google see that you are in the right place. That is the thinking I use when I build websites for cleaning companies: a clear offer, simple contact and a local area.
Which package fits
For most cleaning companies, Start, from NOK 9,900 excl. VAT, is enough. Growth, from NOK 15,900 excl. VAT, fits if you also want help with text, Google Business Profile and more languages, for example if your customers speak Lithuanian or English. You see the front page finished before you pay anything.

Questions about a cleaning company website
Does a cleaning company need a website, or is Facebook enough?
Facebook can work as a start, but a website gives you control, a clear price and contact details, and it can be found on Google. The two complement each other.
Should I show prices on the website?
Yes, at least a starting price or an example. It makes more people dare to call.
What does a cleaning company website include?
A front page with the offer, services, area, reviews and contact. More can be added over time.
Can the website be in several languages?
Yes. Many cleaning companies have customers who speak Lithuanian or English, and then the site can have several languages.
